Job Summary:

• This position focuses on the review of product and associated documentation to validate and document conformity. Duties include:
  • Review documentation associated with operational instructions for conformity with requirements
  • Visual inspection of product
  • Dimensional inspection of product using instruments such as calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gages
  • Management of associated documents; updating, scanning and filing
  • Completion of transactions within our enterprise resource planning software associated with inspection activities
  • Completion and distribution of summary reports of Inspection activity using MS Excel

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Proficient in the use of inspection instruments
• Strong ability to operate a PC for work processing, database access, report generation and email communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to lift and move 40lbs
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing inspection and AS9100 environments

Education:        High school or equivalent
Experience:       2-3 years
